D-DAY MINUS A WEEK

We're checking the weather reports often to help us project what it will be like in these three different countries over the next month so we can fine-tune our wardrobe choices accordingly... versatile and comfortable, yet sophisticated and comprehensive... a challenging balance!  And of course we don't want to over-pack so we have room for small acquisitions along the way.

Right now we're ticking off items on our respective to-do lists, at the same time somehow always adding additional tasks we missed.  We just have to keep in mind that we're not going to the third world, so it's not so critical if we forget something.

Here are a few images from the home comfort zone we'll be leaving behind...

Our own private 'cappucio' machine...

Ahhhh!  that first cup...

The N. Y. Times waiting for us...

And if the weather's nice, relaxing in our new garden, along with our 3 piggies 'Prociutto, Culatello, and Piccolo Pepperoni.'

...but suffice it to say, we're excited for this adventure, and so looking forward to experiencing new and different sights, sounds, tastes, aromas, and history that we're not used to.  And on this particular trip we will also have the added challenge that we don't speak any of the languages.

Hope you enjoy tagging along with us...
